This Partnership in Responsibility is characterized by the opportunities and the guidance necessary to motivate learners, the desire and ability to be successful in human interactions, to access and process information, and to accept personal responsibility for all decisions made throughout one's lifetime.
School Improvement Process
Students, Teachers, Parents, and Community Members are all a part of the School Improvement Process at AEIS. It is our goal to maintain the Highest Student Achievement. Working as team, we have developed two Student Performance Goals. It is everyone's responsibility to help students with these goals. The two goals selected during school year 2007-2008 are below:
Student Performance Goal 1
All students will increase their Literacy Skills across the curriculum.
Essence:
• Reading comprehension through vocabulary
• Proficiency in conventions of writing
• Clarify or explain thinking through writing
Student Performance Goal 2
All students will increase their Problem Solving Skills across the curriculum.
Essence:
• Using a variety of appropriate strategies to solve problems.
• Identify parts of the problem
• Interpret and analyze data
• Recognize patterns
